Send Off Summer at the Conshy FunFest this September

Fall festival season is back! While many of the local favorite fall festivities were cancelled at this time last year, now, our social calendars are filling back up as Oktoberfest celebrations, fall arts shows, pop-up beer gardens are more are back on. Lucky for residents of your OMNIA at Town Center apartments, one of our area’s biggest and best fall festivals is returning this month.

Conshohocken’s Funfest has been bringing together local community members for nearly 20 years. Held every September, the event features food, drinks, games, kids’ activities, opportunities to learn more about the community and much more. And best yet, it’s all free to attend!

The event is scheduled for noon-8 p.m. Sept. 18 on Fayette Street, from 1st to 6th avenues. The festival is held in the heart of downtown Conshohocken, allowing visitors to the town to explore all of the excitement that nearby Conshy has to offer—shops, restaurants, bars, parks, riverside views—all just 10 minutes from your OMNIA at Town Center apartment.

Start the fun at First and Fayette, where there will be a main stage featuring live, local entertainers throughout the day and night. Also at that intersection, restaurants throughout the town will offer outdoor dining opportunities, offering visitors a varied taste of Conshohocken. Throughout the rest of the festival, peruse vendors that include artisans and merchants—everything from candlemakers and jewelry crafters to gourmet candy sellers and local wineries. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on some early holiday gifts, grab some new décor for your OMNIA at Town Center apartment or treat yourself to a little something. There will also be plenty of local businesses and community groups setting up shop, so you can see what Conshohocken is all about. And if you have little ones in your life, bring them along for games, giveaways, inflatables and more.
